Tongue & Groove ceilings in the bedroom and hall along with crown moulding. Bedroom also installed a new fireplace with electric fire insert. Hidden storage shelves in the sides and the mantel opens up for more storage and charging station.

Master bath got a transformation on the wall with ship lap and new medicine cabinets with track mirrors. Also, remade the doors and added a bank of drawers for the vanity.

Had a quick pause from built-ins and attacked our own kitchen. The old one was somewhat functional, but very outdated and certainly NOT our style. We always like a two-tone look, but instead of doing two paint colors, my wife loves the stained alder uppers (and I have to agree). Took many sample color trials before we finally made our own blend to get what we wanted.

The final outcome is much more functional and turned out exactly what we wanted. We are stroked about the backsplash tile as well… turned them vertical for a rainfall look. Fought my wife for 2 mins over that – but of course, she won… and I’m SO glad I listened to her eye!

Our cat got into the construction too… well, you can say she jumped in anyway.

Took a very old workbench and turned it into a vanity with a modern vessel and faucet. Add more functional Bi-Fold sliding doors to the new laundry and shower area. The contractors did a wonderful job of updating the bathroom, including the new shower/tub area. Also turned an old European door into a workable piece of art.

ALL new custom cabinet made from hickory and reclaimed barnwood. Wainscot walls with a hint more of barnwood and a warm paprika red that makes all the browns pop. Basement level kitchenette added… tons of new cabinets, open shelving on a shiplap wall. LOVE the retro fridge/microwave they picked out too. Could NOT have done it with my “crew”… thank you Roberta Wohn & Ron Wohn. And thanks to the homeowners for allowing me to stay at this lovely home during the remodel. (Oh, and had time to finish all the trim & bath vanity doors/drawers).
